Our friend had a company that needed to grow...
Komida started with a good friend and his specialty food company. Sharif Harb (Harb Chocolate Corp., Knoxville, TN), had been making incredible vegan peanut butter cups, peppermint patties, and more for a couple of years, and the product was really good, but he was having a hard time growing bigger than his fifty or so retail accounts nationwide. He was doing everything he needed to keep his business running, but he wanted more.
we developed a foundation for his business
Sharif could not handle more direct accounts without hiring someone, and he was having a hard time managing the accounts he already had. He also wanted to work with distributors in the future, and was worried that his business wasn't ready. He needed more help, and while he had tried to get the most out of his accounting software, he realized that his business was complex, and there were a lot of ways it could be improved.
